Saxophonist Daniel Schnyder is one of Switzerland’s most celebrated composers. He has lived in New York City for several decades. Combining the work of these two composers, I want to offer a focus on the emigré, the perpetual nomad, the person who wants to fit in and yet is destined to being an outsider.

Peter Sheppard-Skaerved and I return to the exploration of Rodolphe Kreutzer’s Etudes in the second of three 12-week cycles.
