As part of the series curated by Finghin Collins and I at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, Professor Ana Chumachenco will play and teach for the first time in Ireland on 7 and 8 February 2018.
Ana is not only one of the most renowned violinists of her generation but also a legendary pedagogue. I had the privilege of being a student in her class in Zurich for a number of years and personally recommend experiencing this outstanding violinist's singular outlook on musical life.
Applications are now open for her masterclasses. Please note that the deadine to apply is 13 December 2017.
Visit the NCH Education page for more information.
Yours,
Gwendolyn
